Manufactured Products Tab

The Manufactured Products tab displays and manages products associated to an Organization. These are the Manufactured Materials sourced by this Organization.

➕Adding a Manufactured Product

Adding a Manufactured Product can be handled by the Manufactured Products Table through the Table Controls and the Add Product view

🚧To add a Manufactured Product to an Organization, please follow the steps below:

Display the Add Product View

Displaying the Add Product view can be enabled through the Manufactured Products Table Controls

🚧To display the Add Product view:

  • Click the Add button in the Table Controls

⭐Define Material Definition (Optional)

The Material Definition is the kind of material for this Product

🚧To define the Material Definition for a Product:

  • Click on the Material Definition input

  • Search and select an appropriate option

Define Product Code and Trade Name

Product Code and Trade Name help with identification for a Product

⭐Define the Product Code for a Product (Optional)

The Product Code is the classification / type code for this material (if it is different than the parent kind)

🚧To define the Product Code for a Product:

  • Enter a new Product Code into the Product Code input


Define the Trade Name for a Product

The Trade Name is the common name or trade name for the manufactured product

🚧To define the Trade Name for a Product:

  • Enter a new Trade Name into the Trade Name input

⭐Define GS1 GTIN (Optional)

The GS1 Global Trade Identification Number (GTIN) is the associated value for the Product

🚧To define the GS1 GTIN for a Product:

  • Enter a new GS1 GTIN into the GS1 GTIN input

⭐Define LMIS Item Code ID (Optional)

The LMIS Item Code ID is the value associated for the Product

🚧To define the LMIS Item Code ID for a Product:

  • Enter a new LMIS Item Code into the LMIS Item Code ID input

⭐Define Contained Quantity (Optional)

Contained Quantity is an equivalent value — for every one of the current product, how many of the type of material is represented

🚧To define the Contained Quantity for a Product:

  • Enter a new value in the Contained Quantity input

Define the Stock Quantity

The Stock Quantity is the quantity (amount of material) which is in one unit of this product used for ordering stock

Define the Value for Stock Quantity

The Value of the Stock Quantity can be handled through the number input

🚧To define the Value for a Stock Quantity:

  • Enter a new value into the quantity input


Define the Unit for Stock Quantity

The Unit of the Stock Quantity can be handled through the units input

🚧To define the Unit for a Stock Quantity:

  • Click on the Units input

  • Search and select an appropriate option for the Product

Define the Batches/Lots

Batch/Lots are Manufactured Materials that can be associated to an Organization

➕Adding a Batch/Lot

Adding a Batch/Lot can be done during the creation of a Manufactured Product. This will simply create Lot Number records for the Manufactured Product using the information provided.

🚧To add a Batch/Lot for a Product:

  • Enter a Batch/Lot number into the Lot/Batch input

  • Enter an Expiry Date for the Batch/Lot into the Expiry Date input.

  • ⭐ (Optional) Add another Batch/Lot by clicking the Add button

    • Repeat the first 3 instructions of this step

Save the New Product

This step will submit and commit creating a new Manufactured Product for this Organization

🚧To add the Product as a Manufactured Product for the Organization:

  • Click the Save button at the bottom of the form

✏️Editing a Manufactured Product

Editing a Manufactured Product can be handled through the Manufactured Products table and the Edit Product view

🚧To edit a Manufactured Product for an Organization, please follow the steps below:

Display the Edit Manufactured Product View

The Edit Manufactured Product view displays and manages properties related to a Product

🚧To open the Edit Manufactured View for an existing Product:

  • Search for the desired Product in the Manufactured Products table

  • Click the Edit button in the Actions Column

  • Click on the Material Definition input

Removing a Manufactured Product can be handled through the Manufactured Products table

Determine Manufactured Product to Remove

The Manufactured Product table displays and manages Products associated with an Organization

🚧To locate the Manufactured Product:

  • Search for the desired Product in the Manufactured Products table

Remove the Manufactured Product

Removing a Manufactured Product is handled by the Remove button in the Actions Column

🚧To remove the Manufactured Product:

  • Click the Remove button in the Actions Column

  • Click Ok to confirm removing the Manufactured Product from the Organization
