Profile Tab

The Profile tab allows you to manage core aspects about an Organization

Organization Profile Panel

The Organization Profile panel displays and manages core properties associated with an Organization, such as:

  • Properties

  • Name

  • Identifiers

  • Addresses

  • Contact Info

The display mode of the Organization Profile will display the following properties:

Property
Description

Name

The Official Name is the officially registered name of the Organization

Type

The Type is the primary classification or type of organization that this entry represents

Focus Industry

The Focus Industry is the industry that this organization primarily operates within

Address

The public address of the Organization

Telecom

Communication contacts for this Organization

✅Enable Editing for Organization Profile

The Organization Profile can be edited once Edit Mode is enabled

🚧To enable editing for Organization Profile of an Organization, please follow the steps below:

Enable Editing

To Enable Editing, find and click the Edit button in the top right-hand corner of the Organization Profile panel header

🚧To enable editing for Organization Profile of an Organization:

  • Click on the Edit button


✏️Editing Properties Tab

The Properties tab will display and manage the Type, Focus Industry, and Name of an Organization

🚧To edit the Properties of an Organization Profile, please follow the steps below:

⭐Update the Type (Optional)

The Type is the primary classification or type of organization that this entry represents

🚧To update the Type of the Organization:

  • Click on the Type input

  • Search and select an appropriate option

⭐Update the Focus Industry (Optional)

the Focus Industry is the industry that this organization primarily operates within

🚧To update the Focus Industry of the Organization:

  • Click on the Focus Industry input

  • Search and select an appropriate option

⭐Update the Name (Optional)

The Name is the official/legal name of the Organization

🚧To update the Name of the Organization:

  • Enter a new Name into the Name input

Save Changes

In this step, we will submit and commit any changes

🚧To save the Changes for the Organization Properties:

  • Click the Save button in the Organization Profile panel header


🌐Editing Name Tab

The Name tab displays and manages the Name Type and Name for the Organization

🚧To edit the Name of an Organization Profile, please follow the steps below:

⭐Update the Name Type (Optional)

The Name Type is the intended use for the name. For example OfficialRecord would indicate the name is used on official documentation.

🚧To edit the Name Type of an Organization:

  • Click on the Name Type input

  • Search and select an appropriate option

Update Name

The Name is the official/legal name of the Organization

🚧To edit the Name of an Organization:

  • Enter a new Name into the Name input

⭐Add More Name Entries (Optional)

More Names can be added for an Organization with several Name Types

🚧To add more Names for an Organization:

  • Click the Add button

  • Select a new Name Type in the Name Type input

  • Enter a new Name in the Name input

⭐Remove Existing Name Entries (Optional)

If there are more than 1 name entry, you may remove a Name entry. There must be a minimum of 1 name entry

🚧To remove a Name for an Organization:

  • Click the Remove button

Save Changes

In this step, we will submit and commit any changes

🚧To save the Changes for the Organization Properties:

  • Click the Save button in the Organization Profile panel header


🪪Editing Identifiers Tab

Identifiers can be updated for an Organization

🚧To edit the Identifiers of an Organization Profile, please follow the steps below:

⭐Add a new Identifier (Optional)

Adding an Identifier can be done by doing this step

🚧To add an Identifier for an Organization:

  • Click on the Assigned By input

  • Search and select an appropriate option.

  • Click on the ID Number input and enter a new ID

  • Click the Add button

⭐Edit an existing Identifier (Optional)

Editing an Identifier can be done by doing this step

🚧To edit an Identifier for an Organization:

  • Determine the right table record To update

  • ⭐Search and select a new Identifier in the Assigned By input (Optional)

  • ⭐Update the ID in the ID Number input (Optional)

⭐Remove an Existing Identifier (Optional)

Removing an Identifier can be done by doing this step

🚧To remove an Identifier for an Organization:

  • Click on the X button to remove an Identifier

Save Changes

In this step, we will submit and commit any changes

🚧To save the Changes for the Organization Properties:

  • Click the Save button in the Organization Profile panel header


🗺️Editing Addresses Tab

The Addresses for an Organization can be added, managed, and removed at any time

🚧To edit an Address for an Organization, please follow the steps below:

⭐Update Address Type (Optional)

The address type indicates the intended use of the address. (e.g. PhysicalVisit for a physical address, or WorkPlace, etc...)

🚧To update the Address Type for the Organization:

  • Click on the Address Type input.

  • Search and select an appropriate options

Update the Country

The country where the address resides

🚧To update the Country for the Address of the Organization:

  • Click on the Country input.

  • Search and select an appropriate option

⭐Update the Province (Optional)

The Province is a partition of a country (also known as a Region, Territory, Zone, etc.)

🚧To update the Province for the Address of the Organization:

  • Enter the Province into the Province input

⭐Update the City (Optional)

The City is a municipal area (also known as Town, Municipality, City, Village, etc.)

🚧To update the City for the Address of the Organization:

  • Enter the City into the City input

⭐Update the Street (Optional)

The Street is a location (building number, unit number, etc.) which is used to locate the address on a street or road.

🚧To update the Street for the Address of the Organization:

  • Enter the Street into the Street input

⭐Update the Postal/ZIP Code (Optional)

The Postal/ZIP is a codified representation of the address used for postal delivery and/or package routing, etc.

🚧To update the Postal/ZIP Code for the Address of the Organization:

  • Enter the Postal/ZIP Code into the Postal/ZIP input

⭐Displaying More Fields (Optional)

More Address fields can be displayed and managed if needed.

🚧To display more Address fields for a Organization:

  • Click the More Fields button

⭐Update P/O Box (Optional)

The P/O Box is the post-office box, mailbox number, or other identification for a delivery instruction

🚧To update a P/O Box for the Address of the Organization:

  • Enter a new P/O Box into the P/O Box input.

⭐Update Unit/Suite # (Optional)

The Unit/Suite number is the unit, suite, office, or other sub-division of the building

🚧To update the Unit/Suite # for the Address of the Organization:

  • Enter the Unit/Suite # into the Unit/Suite # input

⭐Update Additional Field (Optional)

The Additional is a location which assists in the locating of the address (i.e. closes intersection, ward, etc.)

🚧To update the Additional for the Address of the Organization:

  • Enter the Additional into the Additional input

⭐Update Care of Instruction (Optional)

Care of Instruction (i.e. C/O) is if delivery or other mail delivered to this address requires a care-of instruction

🚧To update the Care of Instruction for the Address of the Organization:

  • Enter the Care of Instruction into the C/O input

Save Changes

In this step, we will submit and commit any changes

🚧To save the Changes for the Organization Properties:

  • Click the Save button in the Organization Profile panel header


📞Editing Contact Info

Contact Info tab displays and manages contact mediums for the Organization

🚧To edit the Contact Info for an Organization, please follow the steps below:

⭐Update Contacts(Optional)

There are a limited amount of contacts which are applicable to an Organization

Here is the list of available contacts for an Organization

  • Primary Home Tel/Email

  • Answering Service

  • Emergency Tel/Email

  • Mobile Tel/Email

  • Pager Tel/Email

  • Public Tel/Email

  • Temporary Tel/Email

  • Work Tel/Email

  • Other Tel/Email

🚧To update any of the above Contacts for an Organization:

  • Click on the Contact Medium input

  • Search and select an appropriate Contact Medium

  • Enter a new Contact Address in the Contact Address input

Organization Hierarchy Panel

The Hierarchy panel displays and manages relationships of other Organizations to this current Organization

✏️Editing Organization Hierarchy

Editing the Organization Hierarchy can be done through the Organization Hierarchy panel

🚧To edit the Organization Hierarchy for an Organization, please follow the steps below:

Enable Edit Mode

Edit Mode allows updating the Organization Hierarchy

🚧To enable Editing Mode for the Organization Hiearchy:

  • Click the Edit button

⭐Update the Organization's Parent (Optional)

Adding, removing, or updating the Organization's Parent can be done at any time through the Parent input

🚧To update the Parent for an Organization:

  • Click on the Parent input

  • unselect or Search and select an appropriate option

⭐Managing the Organization's Children (Optional)

Adding or removing the Organization's children can be done through the controls in the Organization Hierarchy panel

➕Adding a Child Organization

Adding a Child Organization can be done through the Children input

🚧To add a Child Organization reference to the Organization:

  • Click on the Children input

  • Search for the appropriate Organization and select the option

  • Click the Add button.

Save Changes

In this step, we will submit and commit any changes

🚧To save the Changes for the Organization Hierarchy:

  • Click the Save button in the Organization Hierarchy panel header


Relationships Panel

The Relationships panel displays entities that relate to the Material. This will also visually reveal hierarchies and relationships.


Relationship Controls

The Relationships panel will allow changing the view mode and printing the current diagram.

View Mode

The View Mode allows changing the type of relationship algorithm

The Relationships Diagram may be printed by clicking the Print button


Relationships Graph

The Relationships Graph displays the relationships that the Material currently has with other Materials

The Relationships Legend references the entities that are displayed with the Relationships Graph
