Locking an Application
Applications can be locked to temporarily or permanently prevent their use without removing their configuration from the system.

This mechanism helps maintain security while allowing administrators flexibility in handling Application availability.
Locking and Unlocking Applications
🔒Locking is typically used when an Application is compromised, or undergoing maintenance.
🔓Unlocking restores the Application's ability to authenticate and interact with the system.
🔒Locking a Application
When an Application becomes locked, that Application may not login and perform normal operations within the system.

🚧To Lock an Application, please follow the steps below:
Navigate to the Security->Applications view
Click the Lock button in the Actions column
If a User account is already locked, there will be an Unlock button present instead of a Lock button
After, a popup will appear to confirm unlocking the account

Click the Ok button.
After:
The Lock button should animate to indicate the User account is being unlocked.
As well, a Please Wait... popup should appear.

Confirm that the Unlock button is present in the User's table record

🔓Unlocking a Application
When an Application becomes unlocked (i.e. active), that Application may authenticate and perform normal operation within the system.

🚧To Unlock an Application, please follow the steps below:
Navigate to the Security->Applications view
Click the Unlock button in the Actions column
If a User account is already locked, there will be an Lock button present instead of a Unlock button
After, a popup will appear to confirm unlocking the account.

Click the Ok button.
After:
The Unlock button should animate to indicate the User account is being unlocked.
As well, a Please Wait... popup should appear.

Confirm that the Lock button is present in the User's table record
