Editing an Application

After registration, administrators may need to update an application’s configuration.

Use Cases

Editing a Application ensures that devices remain accurate and aligned with current security and operational requirements without having to re-register them from scratch.

Editing an Application can include:

  • Managing Device Profile:

    • Changing its Security Properties, such as

      • Resetting Invalid Authentication attempts,

      • Editing Application Secret

      • Resetting Application Secret

    • Updating Extended Properties, such as editing:

      • Software Name,

      • Vendor,

      • Version,

      • Managing Associated Policies:

      • adding Policies,

      • removing Policies,

      • editing Permissions for Policies

  • Managing Certificates:

    • Viewing certificates

    • Replacing expired certificates

    • Deleting certificates

  • Viewing Application Access & Audit Trail

Navigate to the Security->Applications view

Locate the Application in the Applications Table

Searching

Searching for an Application can be done by:

  • 👀manually finding the Group, or

  • 🔍using the search field (located in the top right-hand corner of the table)
