Devices

Devices in the system represent the hardware endpoints (such as tablets, workstations, etc...) that connect to the central server to access medical records and related processes.

Each device is registered with:

• 🆔a unique security identity,

• 👮assigned policies that control access,

• 📃extended metadata, such as

  • #️⃣model,

  • 💻operating system,

  • 🏥designated facility, and

  • 👤designated user

• 🪪authentication certificates,

• 🐾an audit trail of activity.

Device Records

💻These device records ensure that only trusted devices can be used by medical staff for tasks like managing encounters, stock, scheduling, and observations.

‼️Administrators are responsible for managing these device records to maintain both security and operational integrity.
