Deleting a Device

Deleting a device can be done at any time

User Case

If a device is no longer in use, administrators can delete its record.

❌Deleting a Device

Deleting a Device ensures that unused or retired devices cannot attempt to connect or authenticate with the system.

What about the Users connected to a device

🚧 To Delete a Device, follow the steps below:

Navigate to the Security->Devices view

Searching for Devices

Locate the Device in the Devices Table by: - 👀manually finding the record, or - 🔍using the search field (located in the top right-hand corner of the table)

Click the Delete button.

Deleting a User

Click the Ok button to confirm deleting the User.

Confirm the User record no longer appears in the Users Table

🔁Reactivating a Deleted Device

Sometimes, Administrators might need to reactivate a device that was recently deleted.

🚧 To reactivate a Device, follow the steps below:

Navigate to the Security->Devices view

Click the Show Deleted button in the top left corner of the table

Locate the Device in the Devices Table

Searching

Searching for a Device can be done by: - 👀manually finding the record, or - 🔍using the search field (located in the top right-hand corner of the table)

Next, click the Un-Delete button in the Actions column of the table record.
