Products Tab

The Products Tab displays and manages Products that are associated with a Material

➕Adding a Product

Products can be added at any time

🚧To add a Product to a Material, please follow the steps below:

Go to the Add Product View

To add a Product, we need to open the Add Product view

🚧To navigate to the Add Product view:

• Click the Add button above the Products Table

After, a window should display with the Add Product view

Define the Manufacturer

The Manufacturer is ...

🚧To define the Manufacturer for the Product:

• Click on the Manufacturer input

After, a dropdown with a collection of available Manufacturer options

• Search and select an appropriate option

Define the Product Code

The Product Code is ...

🚧To define the Product Code for the Product:

• Click on the Product Code input

After, a dropdown with a collection of available Product Code options

• Search and select an appropriate option

Define the Trade Name

The Trade Name is ...

🚧To define the Trade Name for the Product:

• Enter the Trade Name into the Trade Name input.

Define the GS1 GTIN Value

The GS1 GTIN value is ...

🚧To define the GS1 GTIN for the Product:

• Enter the GS1 GTIN into the GS1 GTIN input.

Define the LMIS Item Code ID Value

The LMIS Item Code ID value is ...

🚧To define the LMIS Item Code ID for the Product:

• Enter the LMIS Item Code ID into the LMIS Item Code ID input.

Define the Contained Quantity

The Contained Quantity value is ...

🚧To define the Contained Quantity for the Product:

• Enter the Contained Quantity into the Contained Quantity input.

Define the Stock Quantity

The Stock Quantity value is ...

🚧To define the Stock Quantity for the Product:

• Enter the Stock Quantity amount into the Stock Quantity Amount input.

• Enter the Stock Quantity unit into the Stock Quantity Unit input.

After, a dropdown will appear with a collection of available Product Units

• Search and select an appropriate Unit option

Define Batches

Batches are ...

🚧To define Batches for a Product:

• Locate the Batch Record

• Enter a Lot/Batch number into the Lot/Batch input

• Enter an Expiry Date into the Expiry Date input

• ➕To add more Batches/Lots, click the Add button

• ❌To remove any Batches/Lots for any reason, click the Remove button

• When you are happy with the Batches/Lots populated, move on to the next step

Save the New Product

Saving will create and register this New Product

🚧To save the New Product for this Material:

• Click the Save button

After, a success notification will appear in the top right-hand corner of the screen

As well, a new Product record will display in the Products Table
