User Hierarchy

There are three layers to consider when composing the concept of a User.

Understanding the User Relationship

For this relationship to be understood, the following entities must be considered:

  1. Users

  2. Groups

  3. Policies

Users

Users are actors on the system and can be broken down by the components which give them the ability to use the system.

Policies Applied to Users

🔢Each user will have one or more group(s) assigned.

Groups

Groups are a collection of policies for which users, devices, applications have the ability to do.
