The Issue Stock function is used to add doses from main storage into an active session, making them available for administration. This step ensures that vaccines are pulled from cold storage or pantry into the session balance before use.
Steps

Open Sessions
From the sidebar, go to My Clinic and select Sessions. Select your active session and click View.

Choose Issue Stock
Select Issue Stock either from the top of the screen or from the row beside the vaccine lot you want to issue.

Select Product
Choose the vaccine product from the dropdown, then click Add to load the entry fields.

Complete Stock Details
Fill in the following fields:
Store → Select the storage location (e.g., Main Fridge, Pantry)
Lot # → Choose the correct lot number for the vaccine
Qty (Quantity) → Enter the number of doses to issue
On-Hand Reference → Confirm you are not issuing more than is available
VVM → Record the Vaccine Vial Monitor status for the doses
Remove (X) → If you selected the wrong product, click the red X to delete before saving

Save and Confirm
Click Save to issue the stock into the session (or Cancel to exit without changes). After saving, click Reload at the top of the session screen to refresh the table. Verify the change in the Remaining Quantity column.

Always check the On-Hand balance before issuing stock
Verify the lot number and VVM status to avoid errors
Issued stock becomes immediately available for vaccination in the session
