Editing Container Properties
Purpose
The Container tab provides key information about each vaccine storage unit (such as cold boxes, fridges, or vaccine flasks). It displays the container’s identifying details, storage capacity, and current balances, ensuring staff can:
Verify storage conditions
Track expiry dates
Monitor inventory at a glance
Navigation

Features
Properties

Name/Description → assigned label (e.g., Mini Cooler)
Type → container type (Cold Box, Vaccine Flask, Refrigerator)
Status → shows if container is currently Active
Facility → health facility where the container is located
Manufacturer → company that produced the container
Serial # → unique identifier for the container
Expiry → date when the container is no longer valid for use
Max Capacity → maximum stock the container can hold (doses or units)
Created By / Previous Version → audit log showing who created/updated the container with date/time
Edit → update details (serial number, expiry, capacity) when required

Current Balances

Product → name and material type
Quantity OH → quantity on hand (doses/units)
Lot # → stock lot number
Expiry → expiry date of the lot with indicators:
✅ Green check → valid
❗ Red warning → expired
Antigen → vaccine/supplement type
Manufacturer → supplier or manufacturer

Displays stock levels visually as a bar graph
Useful for comparing stock levels across products
Highlights vaccines that are running low or overstocked
Key Notes
Use Detail View for reconciliation and expiry monitoring
Use Chart View for quick stock snapshots across products
Keep container properties (expiry, capacity, serial number) updated to ensure accurate reporting
